Afzal guru and arrested DSP devendra Singh's alleged Link's &2001 parliament attack
When judicial inquiry and interrogation of Afzal Guru came out, the name of a powerful man whose height and stature can be gauged from the fact that he received DSP rank in the Jammu and Kashmir Police received the award from the President. Regarding the officer whose name was Devendra Singh, Afzal Guru said that Devinder had implicated him. But no one took any cognizance of this and the police and other investigative agencies did not invest Devinder Singh in any way. Now, on 11 January 2020, the same DSP Devinder Singh, who is the Deputy Superintendent of Police, met in a vehicle on the Srinagar-Jammu highway along with two wanted Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists. Two AK-47 rifles were found in the vehicle from him. During the arrest, DIG Atul Goel, who was present on the spot, coddled Devinder. Later, when the house of Devinder Singh was searched, 1 AK-47 rifle and two pistols were found from there.
In 2001, Afzal Guru, an accused in the Parliament attack, told that in the year 2000, Devinder held him in an STF camp for several days and tortured him. Then in 2001, Devinder asked him to take 1 unknown man Mohammad to Delhi and get him a room there, and Afzal Guru expressed doubt that the man was not Hindustani because he was not able to speak Kashmiri properly. But he was forced and had to bring Mohammad to Delhi. Mohammad bought a car from Karol Bagh. Afzal and Mohammad were constantly getting phone calls from Devinder. These were the calls mentioned by Afzal Guru and said that call records should be removed which would give evidence of Devinder's involvement in the attack on Parliament. But none of those call records were corrected. If had been taken, perhaps a lot of information would have been in front of everyone today.
In 2013, Afzal Guru was hanged.
In 2019, Devinder Singh received a police medal from the President.
Devinder Singh took a 4-day leave from 12 January.

Afzal is such a strong name for Guru Deshon that BJP's JNU return Amitabh Sinha was threatening Kanhaiya Kumar in his name that you hang the traitor, he was hanged.
Politics is not such a straightforward thing, nor is patriotism and treason such a straightforward decision. No matter how many things are never revealed, if someone speaks, his face is closed, someone becomes shahabuddin, a judge is loya, evidence is destroyed, conspiracies are made, birds and opposition parties are amongst themselves. They are found, criminals continue to rule the country because it is not the custom to call governments as traitors, only the people can be traitors.
The policemen who caught Devendra Singh did not know that he was with those terrorists there, Devendra Singh was on leave, so even if he was caught, he was in misery.
The Supreme Court, which was doing the so-called justice after seeing the public sentiments, is refusing justice today due to the public sentiments.
The BJP was desperate that Afzal Guru should be hanged as soon as possible, shouting slogans, the country is ashamed Afzal Guru is alive, see what govt. does now in Devendra Singh's case and whether it fulfills the expectations of the entire countrymen or not Only the time will tell and the citizens will have to review whether the Modi government punishes Devendra Singh severely after judicial inquiry.
